Things your momma should have told you - DYI:Hair mask
Heya sweets,
I though i'd start out easy for you guys. Here is a great tip/trick for deep conditioning your hair. all you need is:
-1 teaspoon of olive oil
-1 teaspoon of brazil nut oil
-1 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
-1/2 teaspoon of honey(if you have long/thick hair double the recipe)
a. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and place that bowl within larger bowl or saucepan (that is filled up with water that has just been boiled). Leave it here for like 2 mins, this will help to make the mixture smoother and easier to put on.
b. Make sure that you wet your hair first, and then towel dry so that its damp (again this will be easier for the mixture to glide on). Then slowly dip your fingers in the mixture and drag it through your hair starting at the top and working your way down to the bottom of your hair. Be sure to add a bit more of the mixture to areas that are really dry. After that, use a wide tooth comb to brush through your hair but be very gentle as your hair is very vulnerable when its wet.
c. After you've combed your hair, grab a warm towel (stick it in the dryer or over the radiator to warm up), and cover your hair for at least 15 mins. Then wash it out with shampoo and conditioner.
d. Now your hair is deep conditioned. :)
Anyways, take it easy and speak soon.

I love DIY hairmasks and facemasks. Is brazil nut oil easy to find?
